What does a Bodyline Explore Women’s Health Check include?

In an ever-increasing world of health-conscious living, having full knowledge of your health and wellbeing has never been more valuable providing valuable information to guide lifestyle changes and medical interventions.

The benefits of a well women health screening, also known as a comprehensive blood test, are not just material; often it can be life changing and lifesaving, as early detection is key to prevention and treatment of serious illnesses or health problems. Other advantages include

  • Knowing vital organ functions
  • Assessing hormone levels
  • Understanding nutritional status
  • Chronic disease monitoring e.g. diabetes
  • Bone health risk management
  • Inflammatory conditions
  • Overall health and peace of mind

That’s why making use of timely and convenient services such as Bodyline’s Explore Women’s health check can be incredibly useful, particularly as you can do the blood test from home and since our nurses and clinical team are trained to identify health results to signpost and offer guidance about where to turn next.

A health check for women should therefore include a variety of health biomarkers to understand vital organ functions as well as full blood count, joint and muscle health checks, infection, inflammation, iron, nutrition, and hormones.  These comprehensive biomarkers should be checked to maximise the opportunity for a full health screening and diagnostic service.

Here at Bodyline, we’d like to make it clear what our Explore Women’s health check includes when you put your health in the hands of our experienced team.

What are Wellwoman health checks?

You may have heard the terms ‘Wellwoman’ thrown around, but many of us don’t actually know what they mean.

Bernadette Murphy, our head of clinical services and a registered nurse manager explains what a well woman health check is and also more about Bodyline’s Explore Health Check:

“With Bodyline’s Explore Women’s health check, which is Bodyline’s well woman health check, we’re looking at a baseline approach of what makes a person healthy or unhealthy within their bloods. That means looking at factors such as cholesterol, and liver and kidney function. By interpreting them we can put people onto the right path to improve their health in whichever factors that are highlighted in their blood screening, whether it be within our own services or back to their GP.”

Essentially, Bodyline’s Explore Women’s health checks takes blood testing to a whole new level, from the new Tap II innovative home blood collection device and looking at indicators and factors that span across the health spectrum, allowing clinicians to offer diagnostic consultations and potential solutions.

What’s more, Bodyline Explore Women’s Health Check empowers people to take a proactive and holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

When opting for holistic, high-quality healthcare, it’s important to learn as much as you can about the latest tools and equipment that can help offer the very best diagnosis and treatments. That’s why we’ve chosen to use the Tap II Blood Collection Device as part of many of our EXPLORE diagnostic wellness treatment solutions, so that we can take blood samples as easily as possible, without the need for appointments, waiting rooms, or scheduling. But what is the TAP® II Blood Collection Device, and how does it work?
The menopause is a natural phase in a woman's life that marks the end of reproductive functions. It is characterised by hormonal changes, including a decline in estrogen, progesterone and tesosterone levels. This transition can lead to various physical and emotional symptoms, ranging from hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings to depression, memory loss, and osteoporosis. Many people seek hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to treat their menopausal symptoms, but when using generic HRT prescriptions, personal menopausal problems may not be targeted or treated in the most optimal way.
Feeling confident is essential to staying motivated and achieving your weight loss goals. Being confident in yourself, confident in your plan and process, and confident in your skin is vital as they push you to continue your healthy journey even when it is not going as quickly as you want. If diet and exercise alone have not and will not help with your weight loss attempts, it may be time to find a solution that is guaranteed to see weight loss results like the medical weight loss programmes at Bodyline.
