|Bodyline doesn’t only do weight loss – we specialise in well-being products too. We chat about our own brand of B12 spray this week and how it can give you a much-needed boost. |
What is Vitamin B12?
Vitamin B12 is used by the body to make red blood cells, it’s also used to produce DNA, and to keep the nervous system healthy. You could have a vitamin B12 deficiency if you’re constantly having headaches, lose your appetite, or if you’re always feeling tired. But you could also be at risk of a vitamin B12 deficiency if you find small, white spots on your skin and continue to suffer from mouth ulcers.
Who needs vitamin B12?
With a new wave of people becoming vegans and vegetarians, there are more people in the UK than ever that could be vulnerable to a B12 deficiency – unless they take supplementary measures. Its role in supporting healthy cell division and folic acid metabolism also raises the importance of adequate levels within women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Finally, people who have malabsorption issues or who have bowel problems such as coeliac disease, Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis will also be considered for supplementary activity.
How do I know if I am deficient?
Deficiency can occur at any age and in the past, many have associated deficiency with growing older and our inability to extract the large molecule from our diet. However, more and more children and teenagers are being diagnosed with a deficiency.
Our livers hold large stores of B12 and deficiency tends to develop over many years and because symptoms can easily be mistaken, diagnosis is often missed.
Symptoms vary but include one or more of the following: fatigue, vague mental fogging and memory problems, depression, weakness, pins and needles in the hands and feet, mouth ulcers and an unsteady walk.
We would always say for individuals to go to their GP for a full diagnosis and speak to them if you’re worried about the signs or symptoms of a deficiency, however, most cases can be easily treated with a vitamin B12 supplement and diet changes.
What’s our B12 spray?
At Bodyline we have created our very own B12 spray – this easy to use spray helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue too, meaning this fast-action spray is a perfect pick-me-up when used in conjunction with a calorie-controlled diet.
Each on-the-go pump gives you a high strength dose, anytime – anywhere.
Our high quality and 100% pure B12 spray will also help your body to convert fats and proteins into energy, and aid in the breakdown of carbohydrate, which in turn aids weight loss.
What’s more, as we age, our digestive system cannot absorb vitamin B12 as it once did, so that is why Bodyline have designed a spray that is taken under the tongue.
Vitamin B12 will also support:
Bodyline’s Vitamin B12 Spray is a fantastic addition to your weight loss and wellness programme.
Specially formulated to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. The tiny droplets absorb quickly in your mouth providing faster nutrient absorption than tablets.
